You probably stumbled upon this blog by either a Tweet, Facebook/Instagram Post, or even a google search (my SEO might be working, who would of thought). I first want to thank you for checking out the blog. With so many blogs, videos and photos out there, It's a wonder how you even saw this post, so I personally thank you for stopping in.
Ok, you probably came here for a reason so let's get down to the nitty gritty and why you're here.
It's simple. Photography! Why else would you click on a photographers blog :).
Alright, a little about me and why this blog even exists. I'll keep it simple, just like I want the blog to be.
Name: Rich Lonardo
Profession: Professional Architectural, Aerial & Landscape Photographer (Yes, you read that right. I make a living shooting photographs for people, exciting huh?)
Location: Northern California (Bay Area)
Why this blog exists: Education, Marketing, Insights, Tip's and tricks...and of course..Photos! You're probably also wondering why the name of the blog is "Ten Thousand", Without going in depth about the meaning just listen....
Ok, ok...not exactly that, but more about the 10,000 rule by Malcolm Caldwell in his book: Outliers (<<Watch out! It's an affiliate link) I know there is a bit of controversy regarding his statement/rule, but I truly don't care. The rule means more to me and reminds me I always need to be learning my craft as a photographer. So I'll roll with it.
What not to expect from this blog:
- Structure: Sometimes I might go off the beaten path, but you can always skip those posts.
- Timing: Honestly, I would love to post daily, but that just might (probably) won't happen.
- Perfection: I'm a self taught photographer...So, yeah, I'm a self taught blogger as well.
With that being said.. I would like to welcome you along for the ride and I look forward to relaying you my knowledge that I have received throughout the years.
